Because April 4th is Easter Sunday. (Our usual sunday to shoot) We will not have a match that day. The last time we shot on Easter in 1988. It rained a flood at that match and at least the next 10 matches.

The Anderson County Sportsman Club in Lawrenceburg Ky will host a fun day on saturday April 3rd instead. It is open to all and free. We will shoot at the silhouette targets until we run out of ammo or we just plain get tired. Start time is 10:00am. We will try to provide lunch around 12:30pm.

For new people just remember to keep centerfire ammo to less than 2400fps. Rimfire .22 rifles and controllable children are welcome.

If you have never been to a match. Or you just want to see what shooting out to 200 meters is like you should come. We are easily accessible to Louisville, Lexington and all of central Ky. If you live within 2 to 3 hours of Lexington come see us. You will enjoy yourself. Please RSVP with a private message or contact me at

I moved this back to the top. The fun shoot/seminar is only two weeks away. Start time 10:00am. PM or e-mail me for directions and information. My e-mail address is in the post above. Those of you in the central Ky area wondering about silhouette. This is a low pressure chance to see what it's all about.
