Custom Shop

I was surffing the other day and came across a blog that said Smith&Wesson had pulled the plug on the T-C Custom Shop. Everything in the retail store was deeply discounted and employees were on notice. T-C's website sorta gives you the same impression .... "Due to our restructuring of the T/C Custom Shop we are temporarily halting our custom shop barrel process so that we can evaluate and improve it. We are currently focusing on completing only those barrel orders that are underway, and we are not accepting new barrel orders at this time. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you."

Anyone have any additional info on this ???

Well ..... I called T/C today and ask them about the Custom Shop. I was told that, yes, it is closed now. They do, however, anticipate that it will reopen after the first of the year. He said that T/C was "restructering" the Custom Shop (whatever that is) and could't answer anything beyond that, such as services that would be available. I guess we wait and see ........... :blink:
