I have one. It's one of my favorite guns. I've heard both good and bad about the 4 position front sight. I was still new enough to the game to just "Arkansas Windage" the targets and never messed with the different positions. I haven't shot that gun in years though...thanks to Ron Dixon...(he is tempting me with "the club gun"...I want it,it's mine...LOL)
I've wondered about those, too. I plan on buying one to try out, one of these days soon.

I just bought one and tried it out yesterday. I only had some of my old 158 grn magnum loads from years ago, but they worked great on the bigbore target swingers. It took me and my spotter about an hour to get all four distances zeroed on the front sight. Once I start using 180 grn bullets, I'm sure I'll be rezeroing though. Only two problems I see with this revolver..... First, the front sight is a little wide for me, I'm going to have my machinist friend mill it narrower for me. Second, when turning the front sight's distance "wheel", you must be right on the money as to the correct spot that the wheel is in. There are no locating clicks or detents to let you know when you're lined up. Although it's not difficult to look at the relationship between the front sight pivoting inner, and ridgid outside housing, to determine when your at the correct setting. Overall I like this revolver, and am glad I bought it!
