Good guy report: Richard Baird

Sunday I showed up at the Northern Kentucky Straight Shooters range in Crittenden KY to check out this phenomena of steel shooting.

Almost immediately after getting there Richard Baird said hi & we started talking steel shooting. My intention was to just meet a few folks & talk a bit. I did bring my tender & 80rds “just in case”.
After talking awhile Rich coxed/cajoled me into dragging out my tender to embarrass myself. I was immediately hooked & with him spotting even manged to hit several of each target.

I thoroughly enjoyed talking to Rich; he was friendly, knowledgeable & a great ambassador for IHMSA! The experience was so good that I went home & filled out an applications to IHMSA & the NKSSA.
