My apologies on the SPAM posting that was here. I have deleted it and ban the user/IP address. So far we have had very little problem with SPAM as I have several measures in place to stop just about any "automated" spammer that uses a robot (computer program that tries to register and post SPAM). However, any human that goes through the motions can in fact register and post, as did the guy selling the electronics. Due to some very hectic issues lately I have not had much time to be on the forum (or shoot for that matter) so I didnt catch this for a few days.

As I mentioned when I brought back the web site, security is a balance between usability and the safety of the site. The more measures I install to increase security, the more hoops the members need to jump through. I have what I feel is a good balance now. If additional SPAM posters show up then I will have to tighten things down a little bit. Hopefully everyone understands - it is for the good of the site itself. Too much time and effort are required to bring this back to life if it gets hacked again or becomes a haven for SPAMMERS.
