Thinking about getting a Chargemaster 1500. Anybody on here using them? How do you like it?

I do not, but possibly this review will help you in the decision making process.

Thanks for that link. I really like the fact that he said it was great for doing load workups. I was wondering about that specific aspect because that's what chews up so much of my loading time these days.
I have the Lyman 1200 DPS3 system. I use it for heavy stick powders and large charges of rifle cartridges. I also use it for just a plain old scale. I do not double weigh my charges. I believe the accuracy of the scale is + or - .1 or .2 of a grain. If the readout is not my charge weight, I simply pour it back in hopper and throw another charge. In my limited experience of 30 years of reloading, unless I am at max loads I will never tell the difference on a silhouette target or game animal. I may tell a difference from a bench. The author is correct you need to keep any air movement away from the unit, the scale will drift on you. I charge all my cases then seat bullets. It took about 3-4 months to get a workable routine. I turn on the unit and let it warmup for more than the 30 minutes it calls for. It must be used in a warm area. If it is cold I use a lamp to help heat it up. I love mine.
