Default Rant on Internationals, auto reset targets, dual signatures

Not really a rant, but. I'm getting ready for another trip to TUSCO and I started thinking about the minor thorns in my side from the last two trips. to wit, the auto reset targets, how fast they set and what you have to do in between. If you are lucky enough to have a spotter it's not so much of a problem, but if you don't, WHEW.
    1. Mark down the hits and misses
2 Get two people to sign the card. Of course the targets are already up, so the second person does not even look to see whats down!
    3. Try to see where you hit. Of course looking through your spotting scope is almost impossible in the time alloted.
    4. Get back to the mat just in time to hear "LOAD". At that point, I am somewhat rattled, did not get a good look and have no time to think about and make any adjustments if needed.
My suggestion? Do away with the second signature OR Have a minimum time the targets are on the ground and up before the call to load. Maybe 3 minutes on the ground and 4 minutes up before the LOAD command.
    What say you youall?

I agree there should be a little more time before the next fire command. It gets a little hectic. Also, by restting the targets so quickly, if there is a problem with a target that was hit, but did not fall, there is little chance to get to the range officer to let them know in time to check it.
With the small attendance at the Int. anymore, there is no reason to rush through the relays.

This post must have gotten to the right person, most of the range officers at the Internationals were not rushing things along. As a matter of fact, one of the ones on the first Saturday asked if anyone needed more time before he reset the targets. Communication is great!
