Contender Question

I have a frame that has the rimfire/centerfire firing pin selector inserted into the hammer. You have to change it with a screwdriver, not the switch looking thing on the hammer. The one in my frame will fall out. It looks as if there is supposed to be a screw that goes through the hammer to hold it in place, but mine doesn't have one. Am I barking up the right tree or not? Anyone know how to fix this?
