If anyone would like to visit beautiful Whidbey Island this spring, we will be having our Annual "Spring Turkey Hunt" at the Holmes Harbor Rod & Gun Club on March 20th. This is not an official IHMSA event but involves knocking down steel and has become very popular. It is a 40 rd. smallbore match with all turkey silhouettes set at 40, 50, 75, and 100yds. Sizes range from scoped rifle size to Field pistol size. Four categories, all Standing, will be shot. Any open sight pistol, any scoped pistol, any open sight rifle, any scoped rifle. Prizes will be frozen turkeys and the coveted "Golden Turkey" pins. Non-event winner will be in a raffle drawing for an additional 3 turkeys. For more info contact: Steve Mooney: mooney1@whidbey.com.
